Join us once a month from May to September for a scenic open water challenge in the Surrey countryside.
With limited places and staggered beach starts, there’s space to settle into your rhythm and enjoy the swim. No racing or chasing times - just you, a 2.5km marked loop around the Big Lake and a friendly community of swimmers.
Before you join us
Distance: A 2.5km loop around the big lake. You should be a confident open water swimmer, comfortable taking on this distance.
Age: For swimmers over 16.
Safety: Our qualified safety team is on duty throughout the swim.
Tow floats: Required for every swimmer. Please bring your own; a limited number are available to hire for £5.
Wetsuits: Mandatory for the May swim. From June to September, requirements depend on water temperature and the safety team’s guidance. Wetsuits are available to hire for £10 on the day.
Swimming without a wetsuit: If you choose to swim without a wetsuit when the water temperature is below 12°C, you must acknowledge the associated risks before entering the water.
