B2B @ The SHAC are investigating how to engage children more creatively within the curriculum by involving teachers in our tailor- made workshops. We will be looking to run an Inset day for Teachers, to Create a dialogue and exchange of idea’s into how creativity can help in the classroom. Through this investigation we would like to hear what the needs of the educators so that we can programme a series of workshops to support Teachers in imaginative thinking whilst delivering the curriculum. We are keen to build a relationship with teachers, incorporating an expression of their idea’s and needs, to enable us to develop and deliver comprehensive workshops as a valuable tool for the educational system. The South Hams Arts Collective is working with the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) to offer one to one tuition for LAMDA Examinations. The SHAC offers examinations in; COMMUNICATION- Particularly in using spoken English and speaking in public, helping students to prepare for interviews, creating presentations and provide a platform for future interviews and careers. PERFORMANCE- Examinations & preparation provides a vocational pathway into acting, theatre/ musical theatre and the teaching of performaing arts. Tuition includes an opporutnity for personal development through a wide spectrum of creative exploration. All examinations are accredited and can work towards to UCAS points.
